'A GTJISE TO INSPIRE CONFIDENCE. Sydney, March 17. William Evans was sentenced to sis months' imprisonment at Newcastle for wearing a British officer's uniform with two rows of ribbons, obtaining a cheque book and giving a valueless chcque.
