ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
►- A FATAL FALL. A window cleaner named Waltei Wells fell from the upper . story of Messrs. Sargood, Son ana Ewen's warehouse, Jervois Quay, _ shortly before noon yesterday. His injuries were obviously very seriou6, and he was removed to the Hospital at once. In the institution lie died shortly before 2 p.m. from internal injuries. Deceased was in the employ of Mr. W. H. Philp, window cleaner, of Emerson Street. MOTOR-C.YCLIST INJURED. (By Telegraph-Press Aiaoclatlt*.) Ashburton, March 17. A young man named Charles M'Cohachie was motor-cycling back to town from the show grounds this afternoon and towing a friend oir a bicycle, when lie swerved into .the footpath and ran into a telegraph post. He hit his head against tho post, aud tlie impact rendered him unconscious, in which condition he wns still lying at the Hospital several hours later. SODDEN. DEATHS AT CHRISTCHURCH.
