A'/private cable message was Kent to Melbourne from Ohristchurch asking if this was correct. A reply has been received stating that the price . fixed was £17 per ton. Imported wheat cost Os. 3d. per bushel, and -was sold to millers at 7s. Bd., -on the understanding, that the price of llour was not more than £17 per ton, millers 'to make their- own terms regarding the price of bran and pollard.
