Every year shows a substantial advance in membership, and the num- , ber of contributors who secured the £6 i maternity benefit last year was greater than ever. The sum of £2671 has al- ■ ready been'paid to contributors by way. of tnis benefit. Other benefits that will be shortly payable out of the fund are the incapacity and widow and children's allowances. The pensions are payable at 60 years of age, but these do not debar a person from obtaining theold age pension in addition. Literature and full particulars may be obtained at' the office of the fund. Special hours of business to suit workers-have been '■ arranged. . ■ ■
