Ernest Walker, who was simi- . ° larly charged, was convicted, and ordered to pay 7s. Court costs. Harry John Palmer, who admitted riding a motorj oycle without a light, was fincfl 205., d with 7s. costs. The alternative was n fixed at three days in gaol. The follow- . ing were dealt with as under for allow--1" ing stock to wander : —William Dick, l " fined os., with 7s. costs, in default 24 J hours' imprisonment; George Mitchell d and T. Reesby, old offenders, were each n mulcted in a penalty of 205., with the 8 usual coats, the alternative being fixed l " at three days' imprisonment. y
