The annual meeting of the Wairarapi Egg Circle was held on Thursday night when the report and balance-sheet were adopted, and the folowing officerls were eleoted for the ensuing year:— Committee, Messrs. H. H. Armstrong and W. Tucker (Carterton), A. Murray (Greytown), J. Sillars and F. J. Fellingham (Masterton); auditor, Mr. R. 0. Garrett; secretary, Mr. H. M. Boddington. The secretary was appointed delegate to tho poultry conference to be held in Wellington-i At the annual meeting of the 17th (Ruahine) Regimental Band, LieutenantColonel Steven son (Woodville). was elected president, R. Ward bandmaster, G. Blane drum-major, L. Sayer sergeant, R. Gray corporal, and H. Donouhue lance-corporal.
