JAPAN'S DEMANDS IN CHINA
SAFEGUARDING BRITISH INTERESTS. • London, March 11. Sir Edward Grey (Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs), speaking in the House of Commons, said that the information in the possession of the Government with reference to Japan's demands on China was confidential. 'The Government was , considering their probable effect, with a view to safeguarding British interests, with which they might appear- to conflict.— ("Times" and Sydney "Sun" Services.)
