THE RECONSTRUCTED CABINET. (Rcc. March 13, 1.30 a.m.) Sydney, March 12. In tho reconstruction of the Ministry consequent upon Mr. Carmichael's resignation, Mr. A. Griffiths takes the portfolio of Public Instruction, Mr. Black becomes Chief Secretary, and Mr. W. G. Ashford Minister of Lands ' and Agriculture. Mr. J. H. Cann is.relieved of the Mines Department, .which Mr. John Steel takes, in addition to Labour, Mr. Graliame becomes honorary assistant Minister of Lands and Agriculture. The others remain as before. Mr. W. A. Holmann, tho Premier, states that at Mr. Graname's'own request he will not carry a full portfolio, but for the present will take a minor 1 rank. (Rec. March 12, 11.20 p.m.) Sydney, March 12. There are indications of further State Cabinet troubles ahead over the precedence question.
