INDUSTRIAL ASSOCIATION

Mr. 0. B. Norwood (president) occupied the chair at a meeting of the Wellington Provincial Industrial Association held last evening. Those present were: Messrs. F. J. Evans, W. J. Thompson, E. Bull, L. R. Partridge, W. and J. Cable, G. Sherwood, T. Ballinger, D. Robertson, W. Eglin, J. Hardie Shaw, and M. Manthel.

The statement 'of the association's finances showed a credit balance of £14 10s. lOd.; the amount on deposit at the P.O. Savings Bank, £30; amount on fixed deposit with the Wellington Gas Company, £1053 75.; accrued interest, £24 14s. lOd.

An interesting report on a visit to the factory of the New Zoaland Automatic Bakeries, Ltd., was read by Mr. H. P. Allen, and a voto of thanks was passed to the visiting committee and Mr. Allen.
