LICENSING ELECTIONS
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Dunedln, March 9. The Licensing Committee election for Dunedin South took placo to-day. Both tlio moderate and temperance parties nominated a full ticket, aiul the election resulted in the return of four moderates and one temperance candidate. The_ principal question at issue was conditional licenses for the trotting and showgrounds in the district. Cisborne, March 9. ' The Licensing Committee elections today resulted in a sweeping victory for the Moderate League, four of their candidates being returned, together with one independent.
