The returns from the Consolidated Group Mines, Reef ton, for February, are as Progress: Crushed 3600 tons, yielding £3120, cyanided 2300 tons, value £185; eulphurets, estimated value £666. Costs per ton, mining 14s. 6d., milling 3s. Id., general and bullion charges 2s, la. Blackwater: Milled 4580 tone, yielding £7215, cyanided 2572 tons, value £911, sulphurets £664. Costs per ton, mining 14s. 3d,, milling 2s. lid., general and bullion charges 2b. 9d.
Wealth of Nations: Crashed 2000 tons,' yielding £2198, oyanided 1286 tons, value £709, Sulphurets £103. Costs per ton, mining 12s;, milling 3s. 6d., general and bullion charges 2a. 7d.
MURRAY GREEK COMPANY. The mine -manager of the Murray Creek Gold Mining Company, Ltd., reportß for the month of February as follows:— "The chamber'and sump have been completed. Driving north in the intermediate level the reef has been extended 24ft., reef sft. wide, driving south 26ft., reef 2ft. 6in. In No. 3 level the crosscut' has been eitended 68ft. The battery return is 1570z. 16dwt. melted gold, and 3Zpz. 7dwt. bullion from cyanide vats. Total number of tons orusbea 179, estimated value £730." STOCK EXCHANGE.
