UNEMPLOYMENT IN THE CITY,

rho report of the Labour Department as to the position of unemployment in Wellington for the week ending March 6 is still very satisfactory; m fact, there were fewer applications made than was the case during the previous week. Most of the unemployment is confined, as usual t° general labourers, and 62 additional-applications were made during the week, over and above 40 previously registered.
