PARNELL TUNNEL
CONSTRUCTION WORK COMPLETED. (By Telesrajh.—Press Association.) Auckland, March 5. The actual construction of the newrailway tunnel at Parnell was completed in the early hours of this morning, and traffic it is expected will be Tunning through it within the nest fortnight or tbreo weeks. 'A considerable amount of cleaning has yet to be done before the next set of tracks can bo laid through the tunnel. Some of tho track-laying work outside the tunnel has already been completed, and all will be'in readiness to cope with the Easter traffic.
