SYSTEMS OF RATING.
(By Tclcsrmnh—Prew Association.) Christohurch, March 4. A poll of ratepayers was taken to-day on the proposal to rovert to the system of striking the (jenernl rate on capital values in place of tho existing system of rating on unimproved values. The propesal was lost by 1929 to 2080.
