"SEVEN LITTLE AUSTRALIANS'" COMPETITIONS. The Beaumont Smith management at the Grand Opera House offered prizes for essays on "What I am going to do for father and mother so they will take me to see 'Seven Little Australians'?" Essays came in from as' far north as Auckland, and as far south as Invercargill, and some wondrous suggestions were made by the youthful competitors as to the maimer which they would relieve mother and father of their parental worries, and incidentally earn the wherewithal to see "Seven Little Australians.'' On Wednesday afternoon the prizes were awarded at the conclusion of the performance by Mr. Harrington Reynolds, who plavs the Old Doctor.
