CREDITORS' MEETING.
A meeting of the creditors in the bankrupt estate of F. Itiddler, juJl., fellinonger, was held 1 in the Official Assignee's office yesterday, Mr. S. Tansley, Acting-Official Assignee, presiding, Only two_ creditors put in an appearance, owing to a Postal mistake preventing all those interested from being notified.
Ihe bankrupt's liabilities -were £243 16s. 9do and his assets were set down at £105 Bs. 9d. The "deficiency was £138 Bs. The principal unsecured creditors iwero Peter Hud son and Co. (Wellington), £27 ss. 5d.; J. Sharps (Petone), £25 2s. 9d.; Pctone Borough Council, £14 7s. 9d.; W. O. fitter (Ngahauranga), £32 55.; S. V. Burridge (Petone), £68 55.; Wellington Cooperage and Box Co. (Wellington), £14 10s.
In his signed statement, the bankrupt stated that four years ago he took a lease from Mr. Futter of a site at Ngahauranga and put up buildings and a boiling-down plant, out of .which he did fairly well. Later, he put ill a wool-cleaning plant, which he hired and which would have been a profitable concern had lie been able to carry on. The Wellington Meat Export Company, however, suddenly . took proceedings against him for an injunction to prevent lum from using the stream in Wakefield's Gully. These proceedings were fairly protracted, and ended in an injunction,, the result of which had been to stop his 'business and 'force him into liquidation. As no quorum of creditors were present, the meeting was .adjourned sine, die iji order to give all creditors an opportunity of attending ou a date to bo notified-
