Mr. John. E. Stent, an .ex-New Zealander,who has a property- at Yedia, on the Pacific Railway, Argentina, called Los Eobles, writes to'the ''Pastoralists' Review"-"It day for me at the. last show at Buenos 'Ayresi- I felt very proud indeed. :My animals were all taken straight from their , paddocks, and were never inside a shea until they reached the show ground. They were the only ones shown tinder these 1 conditions, aoid took a large number of prizes. For my own part, .this has been the best year I have had. Sold out all my bulls and rame very early at iiret-class prices, did well out of fat stock, sold 265 tons of surplus hay at £3 ',10s. a ton, took fifteen 6teers and four calves to tha fat stock show and won twenty-one prizes, including sis -honourable' mentions. Won £415 in prize money, and eold the exhibits for £1420. 1 have excellent crops—l2so acres. This is not bad for what you call a cockatoo farmer, because I have-only 2250 acres of country."-*;
