WEEK-END SHOOTING KARORI DEFENCE CLUB The Karori Club fired the first match of its second series at Trent-ham on Saturday afternoon, under the best weather conditions that have been experienced there . this season. : 'l'ho ranges were 800 and 1000 yards, and several fino. scores were registered. itflmn. Ching, Bulford, and Tinhey- came out on top in the order named, with 63, G2, and 61 respectively. Captain R. N. Irvine, a visitor, also got G2.. Rflmn. Marsden, and Mr. Menzies. The shooting was again of a high order in spite of a tricky wind. Rifleman Cottrill rattled on the fine score of 63, out of a possible 70. Next.
