GERMAN SCREW IN BELGIUM Paris, February, 24. A correspondent of the "Journal deS Debats" says: "The German yoke on Belgium grows heavier daily. The restrictions are increased; no passports are issued; houses are ransacked and unroofed in tho search for copper and zinc. . 1 "The Germans are resorting to trickery to subdue the spirit of the. people. A supposed Belgian recruit visited tho Baroness Calwaerfc, and begged help to rejoin his regiment. The countess gave him some money, and a few minutes afterwards she was arrested and sentenced to five years' imprisonment for treasonably aiding Germany's enemies.
