Sorno good 6corea were put up." In. the match Oriental A-Union, Oriental, in their first imings, made 188. Union, at the call of time, had lost one wicket for 32 runs. Taylor, the not out man, only added seven to his soore, when he was very unluoky to be given run out. Warno played a good innings for 48, but was responsible for a couple of run outs. Phillips was bafcb'ng well when he had the bad luck tj be badly run out. Oriental, with a lead of ,38 runs on the first innings, started their second innings, and after two wickets had fallen for 58 mas owing ito the bad light, stumps were drawn, Oriental winning by 38 runs on_ the first innings, and sooring a two-point win. Ihe win was due to 'their fine fielding, seven being caught,. and three run out. Rivals had a very easy win over Oriental B, On the first day Oriental made 148 in their first innings, while Eivals had lost one wicket for 148 runs. Wilson, the not oult man, reached 162 before losing his wicket.. With the score at 317 Rivals declared. ■ Oriental, with eight men, were all disposed of for 93, Rivals winning by an innings and 76 runs. The following table shows the positions of the teams.— -
