; «——— • TO-NIGHT'S MEETING. A public demonstration in support of tile National Reserve will be neld in the Town Hall at 8 o'clock this evening. The Mayor (Mr. J. I'. Luke) .will/be in the chair, and addresses will bis given by the Right Hon. W. F. Massey, Prime Minister, Sir J. G. Ward, 1 the afternoon. . • chairman, and Colonel . Porter, 0.8. (president and commandant of the Wellington District National Beserve). The Tramway Band, honorary band to the' Wellington. National Reserve, . will render patriotic selections during the meeting. Their programme includes "Naval Fantasia," a and highly interesting- piece, into which is introduced the Sailor's Hornpipe, danced by some of Miss Estello Beero's; little pupils; and a chorus entitled "The Rosary." The city organist (Mr. Bernard Page) will bo the accompanist. The ladies of Wellington are specially invited by the committee to . attend the meeting.
