The ninth round of the 'Rotorua bowling tournament was finished this evening. The following are the leading rinks:— Section A.—Grey Lynn (Mills), 1; llocky Nook (Eagleton), Carlton (Blair), 7 wins each. Section B. —Wellington (Thompson), S; Rocky Nook (Wakerley), and Carlton (Laurie), 7 each.
Section C.—Whakatane (Forrest), 8; Auckland (Parker), and Rocky Nook (Bougkill), 7 each.
Section D.—Ponsonby (Wilson), 8, with a bye, but no losses; Rotorua (Jackson), and Karangahake (Jury), (5 each, champion single match iu Rotorua.
