FIRE AT GISBORNE

(By Telegraph.—Pres3 Association.) Gisbome, February 17. Shortly before midnight a fire broke out in a central block of wooden buildings. The Alexander Tea Rooms, Fremiti's Book Arcade, Zak (tailor), H E Hill's, and other offices were completely gutted. The firm is now under control. A fire occurred at 115 Willis Street fit 7.55 p.m. yesterday, when a fourroomed dwelling, occupied by William Edward Colie.v, and owned by Mrs. Richards, of Ghuznec Street, was seriously: damaged.
