RAMABRAI'S INDIAN HOMES
Mrs. Nalder, of Nova Scotia, delivered a lecture in the Town' Hall Concert Chamber last night, in aid of Madanie Pandita Ramabrai's. Indian Homes for child widows and needy children. There was an attendance of about 300 people, the chair being takeu by the Hon. J. G. W. Aitken, M.L.C. ■ During the past eleven months Mrs. Nalder has been in New Zealand, having previously lectured for the same cause in England, Canada, and the United States. Tho profits of the New ' Zealand tour, made from collections and the sale of literature, already amount to £900. To-day Mrs. Nalder leaves for Westport, and from there she proceeds to Dunedin. Subsequently she tonrs Australia until October next, when she hopes to be able to visit India. The subject of last night's lecture was her own life, and' the recital was listened to with keen interest by those present.
