BELGIUM'S NEW ARMY
TO BE RECRUITED TO 200,000. • (Rec. February 15, 9.20 p.m.) Paris, February 15. The Belgians are endeavouring to raise an army of 200,000. _ Eighty per cent of tho 191-1 recruit? living near tho Dutch and French frontiers have already joined the colours. An urgent appeal lias been issued to refugees now in Holland and Britain, between tho ages of 18 and 30, to volunteer, otherwise the Belgian Government will issue a decrce for compulsory military service.
