4 — FOUR-MASTED SCHOONER RIMAC, (Br TeloemDh—Press .Association.) Invercargill, February 13. All hope for the safety of the British four-masted schooner Rimac, 600 tons, four months overdue at tho Bluff from Surprise Tsland has been abandoned. The vessel was commanded by Captain Thomassen, and was due at the Bluff in November last with guano for the National Mortgage Company. She was loading when the German cruiser Numbers raided Fanning Island, and was probably sunk.
