NATIONAL RESERVE
Turnbull's rooms, in Panama Street, were crowded last night when a meeting was called for the purpose of forming a branch area of the National Reserve for Kelburn, Karori, Makara, and Northland distriots. Mr. H. H. Ostler was in the chair. Colonel Porter (president of the executive), in opening the meeting, explained the aims and objects of forming the reserve. ■ It was decided to set lip a temporary committeo as follows: —Messrs. j. Smith, Wm: Ballinger, Caverhill, •W. | T. Hildreth, Tonnant, R. Grant, and T. Gapes.
