COCTLATNTS ventilated. (Rec. February 9, 10.15 p.m.) Sydney, February 9. Before the Commodities Commission, / the poultrymen complained that the' pollard , they had been supplied lately; with was badly adulterated with offal, even, including sand. Country storekeepers oomplain that, as the result of the operations of the-i Wheat Acquisition Act they cannot now' obtain-flour, from local mills, but must obtain it from Sydney, and pay back freight. They also complain that tho' country millers are permitted to export to New Zealand and Victoria, wher® higher prices are obtainable. They contend that they havo been placed in? an unfair position, and ask the Govern* ment to interveno and correct an apparent injustice.
