Tho luncheon looms under the grandstand and. the •lavatories havo been asphalted under'foot, and other measures taken to minimise the dust nuisanco should it bo windy. , The holding paddocks for stock havo been subdivided, and water laid on to each, an abundance of green food has been secured at considerable expense from for the show stock. . Competitions to bo decided' on tho first day are: Men's driving,, tiirniiig, best paced hacks, maidon hunters' comrpotition, harness horse and livo stock judging.. 011 the second day, in addition to tho grand parade' of stock, tho competitions will be: Ladies' driving, pony jumping, harness horse, wire jumprng (hunting style), hunters' open ' : jumping, turning, 1 ladies' hunters' jumping, high jump, and best boy and girl rider. .'Classes to be judged on tho first day aro; Stallions,- ponies, some saddle lioTses, draught horses, cattle ,sheep, pigs, dariy produce, and. home industries. On the second day the remaining saddle horse classes will be, judged, '»lsp' harness horses, miscellaneous glasses, , and. dogs.
