A competition which is attracting considerable attention at the forthcoming Dannevirke A. and P. Show is the newly-introduced wire jump. A largo number .of entries has been, icceived, and the event promises to bo very popular. . In the open hunters' competition there will be keen rivalry for 4he challenge cup of Mr. L. C. Rathbane, and the ten-guinea cash prize, while the entries in the ladies' nunter olass also promise close competition. Sbeep entries in most classes are in excess of last year, while the cattle entries are about on a, par with previous years. Recent improvements made on the grounds are conducive to the comfort and cunvenienoe of exhibitors and the public alikei Any information desired in connection with the fixture will be supplied by the secretary, Mr. F. C. Stubbs, Ward Street, Dannevirke.
