OPIUM SMOKING
CHINAMEN FINED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Auckland, February I. For smoking opium, a Chinaman was fined £10, and £3 19s. costs, in the Police Court to-day. Another Celestial who had abetted the smoking to the extent of giving his friend the use of his pipe- was fined £5, and £3 19s: costs.
