• OUTBREAK AT ISLINGTON FREEZING WORKS. (By Telegraph—Pre«e Association 1 Christchuroh, February 3. A fire broke out between two and three o'clock this morning in the main building at the Islington Freezing Works, -and at one time looked like spreading into a general conflagration or the principal block of buildings. Tho origin of the firo is not known, but it was discovered by one of the- night stokers in the engine-room, who immediately" gave the alarm. The, company's fire brigade were on the spot, and worked with commendable, promptitude. Tho absence of wind favoured their efforts, and after some time the fire was got under.
