CANADIAN BRIDGE DESTROYED
A GERMAN ARRESTED Montreal, Febrnary 2. A railway bridge connecting Montreal and Halifax with other Atlantic points has been destroyed by dynamite. An ex-German officer, named Van Home, has been arrested at Vanceboro. in Maine. He confessed the crime, declaring it was duo to his hatred of Canada, because of her participation in the war. It is believed the plot to invade Canada is still brewing, and all preparations are being made.
