FIVE AIRSHIPS OFF ENGLISH COAST
AN UNCONFIRMED REPORT (Rec. February 2, 9.5 p.m.) London, February 2. Unconfirmed reports state that five' airships appeared on the south coast last night. The forts, including those at Dover, opened fire and drove the enemy across the Channel. The authorities in London and elsewhere promptly obscured all lights. REPORTS UNFOT'NDED. (Reo. February 3, 0.5 a.m.) London, February 2. The alarm of an airship raid has proved unfounded. BOMB-DROPPERS REVISIT DUN- , KIRK. DAMAGE INSIGNIFICANT. (Reo. February 2, 10.40 p.m.) ■Paris, February 2. Six German airmen dropped sixty bombs on Dunkirk, but the damage done was insignificant.
