The Salvation Army band went out to the Trentham camp on Saturday evening and rendered an interesting programme of vocal • and instrumental music, which was received by the men with hearty appreciation. "Lights out" found tho bandsmen comfortably settled in tents thoughtfully provided for their use. On Sunday morning tho dark blue uniforms of the bandsmen wero conspicuous all over the camp as the wearers fraternised with tho troopers or renewed old acquaintance in the tents. Divine service at ton o'clock was attended by over 2000. . At 2.45 p.m. the band gave a quickstep exhibition, and at three o'clock another musical programme, which was much enjoyed; and at the close of which tho Hegimental Band was presented with a copy of a spirited march composed by Bandmaster Gcffin, of the Salvation Army Band, introducing the overgrccn "Tipporary." Divine service at 6.30 closed a most enjoyable visit.
