PAHIATUA SHOW.
In of the big rash of entries -at the very last moment for the lahiatua Show it has been decided to .extend the time for receiving them till litis (Saturday) evening at 8 o'clock, ■with tho secretary (Mr. J. A. AValsh). t'Xho entries so far received are well ■ahead of previous years, and the association's sixth annual fixture is expectto, bo a record one. The Ram Fair, wffich Is to be held on the day following the show, has attracted remarkably largo entries, _ and as farmers in the iPahiatua district have deferred purchasing their Tarns this season until the /fair is: held, there should be spirited Competition. The latest stock returns slow that' "in the Pahiatua and conitiguons counties there are 677,000 sneep. Entries for the Earn Fair c)osb at 8 o'clock.
