For the lending Show, which takes j place on Tuesday and Wednesday next, ! excellent entries have been received, ! they being considerably in excess of last | years. The' attractive, ring events have I tilled much better than expectation, and some of the; finest jumpers in New ZeaI, land will be-competing.- All. breeds of cattle aTe'well-represented;'the entries in dairy 'classes being very numerous. There are 552 pens" of sheep entered. " These comprise a show in themselves, j .representing, as they do, the best i breeders in the North Island. The ; -classes which chiefly interest the ladies, I yviz., home industries and art needle- : ,work, . will be . found attractively dis- ;. .'-played and far. more numerous than . ot any of this association's previous : .chowi. For the youngsters the side : ishow's will no doubt be as popular as . iever,~. ! and there promises to he a large on the ground. The grand /■parade takes place at 1.30 on Wednesday. "
