RAILWAY FATALITY. (By Teleff?apk—Pr&M Association.} GhrlStchurch, January 29. The body of a man horribly mutilated was found at tho Waltham railway crossing this morning. The body has been' identified as that of William Challinor, oanvasser, Lower Riccarton. He left- homo at 2.30 this morning, and it is presumed was run over by a shunting engine. He left a letter announcing his intention to oommit suicido. ACCIDENTALLY KILLED. Wanganul, January 29. An inquest regarding the death of William James M'lutyre, killed at Castlecliff on Sunday last through being run over by a motor lorry, concluded to-day. A verdict of accidentally killed was returned. . HEAD-ON COLLISION. Tlmaru, January 29. A dust storm on the Washdyke Boad to-day was responsible for a head-on collision between two cars. Mrs. C. N. Orbell's daughter, driving out, met Messrs. Murray and Mmlrons, architects. Neither was going fast through' the dust, and did not see each other in time to avoid meeting. Both cars were badly damaged, but the occupants escaped injury, except Mr. Murray, who was cut about the face by the broken glass of the wind-shield.
