HOROWHENUA A. & P. SHOW.
The Horowhenua A. and P. 'Association Show is to be opened to-day by the Right Hon. W. F. Massey, Prime ■ Minister, who will be accompanied by Mrs. and Miss Massey, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Field (member for Otaki), . and others. . There various committees, together with the secretary, are. leaving no stone unturned to meet the comforts of'visitors, competitors, and, general public to ensure a pleasant day's outing. There will be numerous side-shows, also trade exhibits, which should prove a great source of attraction for all. Guessing competitions in both fat bullock and fat sheep' will be carried on. As the train service.'*suits both north and south residents, the attendance is expected to be a Tecord.
