ISSUE A WAR PASTORAL "BEERY STILL AWAITS US" - ("Times" and Sydney "Sun" Services.) London, January 22. Catholic bishops in Germany have issued a war Pastoral, which says_: "We do not wish to busy ourselves with the account book of other nations, but with our own; not to examine the enemy s conscience but our own. Wo are innocent of the outbreak of war; it was forced upon us; that we can testify before God. The world has hardly a household without a dead member. We bowail that still no end is in sight, and wo are certain that only much misery still awaits us."
