Melbourne, January 28. Official information received from Rear-Admiral Patey states _ that on January 5 H.M:A.'S. Australia captured and sank a German liner which was aoting as supply ship to German cruisers. The ofßoers and crew are prisoners on tho Australia. The crew are all well. SWEDISH STEAMER MINED. Stockholm, January 22. The Swedish steamer Drott struck a mine in the Gulf of Bothnia. Five of the crew\perished. BRITISH STEAMER TORPEDOED. London. January 22.
