VIOLATION OF HAGUE CONVENTION AMERICA URGED TO ACT Nov/ York, January 22. The Rev. Stauffer, Congregational pastor, formerly resident in the United States, and now in France, has cabled Mr. W. J. Bryan (Secretary of State) as follows :-V'How much longer are you going to keep silent ivhilo non-combat-ants are being murdered and ' every principle of the Hague Convention is being violated? You have spoken eloquently of the Prince of Peace. You can serve Ilim now. Your silence surely gives the lie to your lectures and 'sermons. I am sure I speak.for tho | majority of former United States rosidents now in France."
