The General Staff is no longer troubled over tho Warsaw problem. The general policy of the Grand Duke Nicholas, the Commander-in-Chief, is to continue to hold as many German troops as possible in their present positions while bringing fresh armies to operate in a selected region. The'enemy!s attack at Kirhbaba, m Bukowina, was repulsed and 150 prisoners were taken. Kirlibaba is on the boundary between Bukowina and Hunary, and about 65 miles south-west of Czernowitz. Kempie is about 30 miles north of Cracow. MARKED PROGRESS IN BUKOWINA'.. (Reo. January 23, 0.5 a.m.) Bucharest, January 22. The Russian offensive in Bukowina is progressing and has a marked suneriority in numbers over the Austrian Left wing, which is retiring on the eft-bank of the Distritza, leaving the Russians an open road to Dornawatra.
