NOTICES OF MOTION .ON, HAND. Notice of the following motions to be moved at Monday's meeting of the City Council has been given:— ;• Councillor Luckie to' move: "That a pell of the ratepayers be taken at the earliest' possible date' to decide whether or not the council shall revert to' the principle of rating on annual in lieu or the present system of rating: on unimproved values," ' >• ,' , ; Councillor Barber to move: "That the following 9 resolution passed at a meeting 'of the' council 'held on . July; 30, 1914, be rescinded, viz.—'That the Wellington. City Council enter into negotiation's : 'with the Harbour Board for. its (consent'to'teolaim part of Oriental Bay, and that' when auch consent Js obtained, iif the terms thereof, and tfie etsifnated' cost are satisfactory : to. thei. council,' that the necessary legislation bo introduced, and when.passed,"that the council's resolution of December 15, .1910J'be then rescinded, and the reclamation be proceeded ,with and completed: as Boon as possible, and vested in the City for the purposes of a park and playing ground.'"
