Mr. Beurstead, the Sydney representative of the' Papuan Government, com: menting on Colonel Holmes's remark that German New Guinea is unfit for whites in the wet 6eason, says that the climate is preferable to Sydney. Papua, he says, is a first-class country, with a great future.
