His Holiness the Pope has written a prayer for deliverance from the horrors of war to be used in Europe on February 7, and outside Europe on March ''THE KISS OF PEACE.'? (Rec. January 20, 6.40 p.m.) : Romp, January 19. j.t. , e ,f°P. e s P r »y6r for peace includes tne following passage: '"On earth Thou hadst feelings of tenderness and pity for human misfortunes, bo in this grey hour for us, of melancholy, hatred, and terrible massacres, may Thy heart be moved to pity *ot mothers who are trembling for their children, for orphaned families, for the misery in Europe, and inspire Governme?ts fao]I peoples with good counsels and will that men may again give the kiss iof peace."—("Times*' and Sydney 'Sun" Services.) '
