« BOWLING THE DOMINION TOURNAMENT. ' (By Telegraph—Pr*M AisociatlM,) Auckland, January 18. Tho tournament of the Dominion Bowling Association was continued in fine weather, when section play in tho singles championship was commenced and completed. The event attracted an entry of 136, and these wore divided into nine sections, eight of sixteen and one of eight players. The sections were divided into sub-sections of four each, and play was conducted on the Dunedin system. Section winners were as follow. —Section A —Stokes (Grey Lynn). Section B —Harraway (Dunedin). Section C—E. J. Hill (Te Hiwi). Section' D—Crowhurst (Auckland). Section' E —M. Walker (Ponsonby). Section P—Osmond (Auckland). Section G—Buchanan (Green Island). Section H—Jury (Karangahake). Section I—Neil (Dunedin). The following members of tho Thorndon Bowling Club have been selected to play, in a friendly game at Newtown to-morrow:—M'Arthur, Murdoch. Plimmer, Barraud (5..); Freeman, Gamble, Brandon, Conlin (s.). At Seatoun on Saturday local games resulted:—KLrcher, Richards, Alexan-' der, Bradley (s.), 27; Bowie, Mabin, Bennett, Green (s.), 18. Webb, Fuller, Wright, Louchlan (5.),22; Hcatn, Paul, Beeßton, Claxton (b.), 17.
