Several of the finals were, however, played at Day's Bay on Saturday afternoon,', and the position of the various contests is shown . by the following summary of results :— ' Ladies' Championship Single?.—Final: Miss C. Stevens defeated Miss Davis, 6—3, 6—l. Ladies' Championship Doubles.— Final: Mrs. Goldie and Miss Williams defeated Misses Batham and Seed, 3—6, 6—3, 6—4. Men's Championship Singles.—Final: 'Swanston defeated Wright, 6-3,- 6-8. Men's Championship. Doubles.— Final: Salmond and-Swanston defeated Butcher and Reeves, 6—o, 7—5. Combined Championship Doubles.— Miss Stevens and Salmond to play Miss , Speedy and Swanston in the final. Ladies'' Handicap .; Singles,—Final: Miss Bennett (scr.) defeated Miss Rigg (18), 54-52. Ladies" ■ Handicap Doubles.—Misses Printzen and Jenkins to play Mrs. Goldie and-Miss Williams, in the final, '•: Men's Handicap Singles.—First grade, final: Martin (14) defeated Henderson (12),'60—54.
