The annual report of the Political ' Labour League points out that there has been a marked improvement in the solidarity of the Labour rote in New South Wales. Regarding the Legislative Council, the report says: "Though its abolition has formed part of tile first plank of the Labour platform since 1908, bo practical stops have been taken to carry it into effect." The league urges the need for immediately commencing a fight on constitu-' tional lines for the abolition of a Chamber "which is a perpetual menace to the democracy, and a buttress to nil forms of privilege and monoply." . , ; '
