Thirteen cups, two rose bowls,' and two gold medals, besides other special trophies, are offered for competition at .the:annual Show of Dannevirke A. and r. Association, to be held at the .society's grounds at Mangatera on Febru- ] ary 10 and 11, 1915. Included in the ! number is Mrs. J. H. Matthew's 10- -. guinea challenge cup for Shrothorns; |'Mr. R, S. Cbadwick's cup of six vguineas for Holsteins; the New Zealand ( Jersey,. Cattle Breeders' Association's (•challenge -cup"for Jerseys'; the Holden /•cup for .'dairy, cattle; the Waipawa Li- !• censed Association's 10- \ guinea iohallejigo cup for dairy -cow, ■ this being.a district competition. Then ■ (there are. : valuable cups for the followAing sheep. classes: Romneys,. Lincoln's\(2), and ;fat sheep and lambs.' '• There .as a cup for the best weight-carrying a. rose bowl for the light-horse -classes'and..another for the best troop' . :horse. -The winner of the high jump -a trophy, of tho iopen hunting competition a 10-guinea .'challenge cup, and of the ladies' hunters' competition a 'seven-guinea challenge ctipv The association gives a gold !.-medal for export cheese, and Mr. 'N. L. SGurr a-similar trophy for Jerseys.'
